Staff and privates had a cushy job last month as no one applied for private rank, if you'd like to see us go berserk wirh stress and deadline-pressure, why not get as many members (who meet the requirements) to write up their application? Of course we'll only consider serious applications but still, wouldn't it be hilarious? :P

I do hope to see a lot of applications this month, we started off the year very relaxed, but it's time we take it up a notch!

I'd probably be able to apply if I can get to 500 in time. I'll do it for Chunkylover53 D: Next month that is lol.

I do have to say that I'm a bit disappointed that you spent so much energy rushing me to apply, Ed, while you yourself seem to be almost taunting the staff with your post cost! :P

Good luck all who apply, though looking at Ed's list it appears many of the eligble people may not be with us anymore. :(

We shall have to venture into the highest Himalayan mountain to lash the young lad, and have him train, sweat and bleed with a pack of wolves, so that he may reestablish the connection with his primal instincts, and aspire to the shiniest sparkle of ranks!

Oh boy.

These forums are seriously becoming inactive. I would probably have applied again if I visited this place once in a while, but I have other things to do.

Actually we're still pretty active considering our member base, Darkslayer. There aren't many of us, but we're all friends and use this place to chat with one another and we are, every now and then, getting some nice new members that stick around. It's nice of you to pop in to tell us how low on the list we are, circa "just came back to remind you I'm still not coming back," though.

I sense some resentment with you, my profane friend. We do need the proletarian scum; us nobles are always fewer, but more interesting! Plus, we have a birthright to pillage their villages and have our way with their women and daughters.

It would seem like a splendid idea, though, if the Dark Slayer (any relation to Buffy? If so, the following plea is stressed:) were to rejoin our ranks, and find the time to rejoice us with his words, wisdom, and perhaps a spot of poetry and/or music. And if he should deem us not worthy of his presence, let him then forever hold his peace. I shall hold my piece, just to ensure this.

You should state that you are being witty with every post you make Anomalous Man, DarkSlayer probably doesn't know your style (yet? to his shame?) If I were him I'd be seriously worried about what you intend to do exactly with your birthright :P

My dear, how would it be witty and ironic if I were to explain it every time in such dreadfully profane wordings?

I do believe you do, Bryan. Apply! If you get in, hurray! If you don't, at least you'll find out why and you can work from there.

That is if apps are still open...I don't think they are. Maybe? I'm too lazy to click open a new window. If all else fails, next month!

Not sure if the section is closed now, but applications usually last for a week or so I think? Normally from the first to the 8th or something, now that it started later, till the 10th normally, but that passed already.

Applications have indeed been moved to the cupboard behind the secret door, so everyone who wants to apply will have to wait half a month :P

Anomalous Man, as always, you have a point. What I mean is: People might think you are mocking them, it is very hard to know in what 'tone' someone is posting something, something to take into account just a wee bit perhaps :)

I was actually offended when I first met Anman before I knew him.

Oh really? That is quite interesting! Do tell, do tell! How far we have gone, from offense and dislike to dislike and homosexual innuendos!

You too have a point Laetca. But my wittyness is partly fed out of a strong belief that I am what I am: gray and insignificant. No one should feel any offense at my wordage, because it is my wordage, and who am I in relation to the You? A big ole bag of ... diarrhea. Still I suppose you either dislike me and thus ignore me, thinking your own of me, and thus not exposing yourself to my influence. Or I grow on you, like an orthopedic fungus or a wart you have had for several years: its presence is painful and unwanted, yet you see the beauty in it, and feel it just as much a part of your life here as your own beating heart. Plus, I write odes. I have pretty much sung everyone's glory here in one way or another. How many people can say they have had their glory sung, huh? You all rank up there with Petrach's Laura, Shakespeare's man in the sonnets, and Dante's Beatrice. Those are some pretty big comparisons!
Of course, if you do not like my low-quality, unmetred poetry, then there is no hope. I cannot play the academic-help card, because none of the people here give a flying toss about linguistics, and I am not pretty enough to emotionally blackmail you. Oh well. Life meanders onward!

That was the post that offended me. Not a big deal actually, I didn't feel like crying or fighting back but it I felt some type of way. lmao

But I love AnMan. I'm the younger him.
